Mac Messenger 7.0 & OCS 2007 Compatability

Matt | May 13, 2008 | 2:10 pm

This is more of a notice to those of you who may be ahead of the curve on your enterprise messaging deployments.

Microsoft has recently released version 7.0 of their Messenger client for the Mac and I must say I’m pretty impressed.

Connected to Office Communications Server 2007

For those who haven’t tried it previously, the old client was an absolute nightmare to try and connect to OCS 2007 as you had to manually import certificate keys, and mess with host files, arrg it was a pain in the ass.  But I’m happy to report that all of that is no more, and full compatability is possible with your Mac users and OCS.
